Nostalgic Nutcracker Portrait Edition - Holiday Collective

Inspired by one of my absolute favorite Christmas stories, I have designed a children's portrait session to illustrate the narrative from "The Nutcracker". This holiday portrait session is rich in nostalgia and radiates elegance! Your children will look like they belong in a Little Golden Book!
This "petite" portrait session series will take place on Saturday, September 18th (backup rain date is Sunday, September 19th) between the hours of 5pm and 7pm. Sessions will be hosted in New Berlin, WI and will be approximately 15 minutes in length.
Your all-inclusive price includes the cost of venue fees, set up, props, session time slot, clean-up, time to edit images, and 5 (five) high res digital files with a print release. (Additional digital files will be available for purchase, if desired.) Children's clothing is not included in the price, but attire can be added on for a session fee. Contact [email protected] if clothing rental is desired. I recommend "fancy" clothes, or elegant (such as satin) pajamas for this session. This is a "tone on tone" style set. What does that mean? It means wear varying shades of pink. Grays (with perhaps pink accents, such as a bowtie, suspenders, etc.) are recommended for boys. Ballet shoes add a nice touch!

FAQ's:
1.) What if a family image is a "must have"?
I can do a simple standing pose of your family towards the end of the session so that you have that for holiday cards/updated family portrait, but it will *not* be with the Nutcracker setup, because the setup is a very tight squeeze and can't fit an entire family. So the family image won't have any props, it will just be taken with evergreen trees in the background. If you are OK with that, then I am happy to take a full family picture at the session 😄
2.) What should my kids wear?
Since this is a unique setup, I won't be sending out my typical style guide. I recommend "fancy" dress clothes for boys and girls OR elegant pajamas (such as pink satin for girls, pale gray for boys). This is more of a tone-on-tone style set, so keeping with this color palette is important. I can provide a list of my preferred clothing vendors upon booking if you need some assistance!
Fine Print: Subsequent to payment you will receive a Welcome Packet with your portrait contract via snail mail. There are no refunds given on session costs; however, if cancelation is needed, deposits will be credited towards any future session with Vintage Blossoms Photography, LLC and have NO expiration date.
